Pivot Point Calculator
What is the pivot point?
The pivot point is a technical analysis indicator or calculations that allow a trader to determine the market's overall trend at various times frames. By Pivot Point Calculator we can calculate pivot points by using the previous day's low, high, and closing prices. If the trading is above the pivot point from the previous day, it signals the current bullish sentiment. When trading is below the pivot point, on the other side, bearish sentiment is indicated.
The pivot point is the basis for the indicator, but it also includes other support and resistance levels that are projected based on the pivot point calculation. Pivot points trading is done by most intraday pivot traders.
How to calculate pivot point
You can calculate Pivot point by below pivot point formula
Pivot Point (PP) = Previous day (High price + Low Price + Closing Price)/ 3
R1=(P×2)−Low
R2=P+(High−Low)
S1=(P×2)−High
S2=P−(High−Low)
Where:
P=Pivot point
R1=Resistance 1
R2=Resistance 2
S1=Support 1
S2=Support 2
